On the 22nd of October 2025, the Veronica Onyeneke Foundation paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Ifunanya Lactus Nwanegwo, the Chairman of Mbaitolu Local Government Area at his office in Owerri. The visit was to formally invite him to the Foundation’s upcoming fundraising and lunch event, as well as to discuss possible areas of collaboration. The Chairman commended the Foundation’s continued efforts in supporting the youth and women and expressed readiness to support the Foundation’s initiative, its vision and programs.
